Platform
This digital platform has been designed to become a reference point for managing apprenticeship mobility flows and information exchange in the building sector across Europe. The platform provides an interactive environment connecting VET providers, companies, apprentices, and institutional stakeholders across Europe. It facilitates the planning, coordination, and quality assurance of mobility experiences, while also promoting networking, collaboration, and skills development.
The platform integrates four core spaces:
Partnership and Networking Lounge
The Partnership and Networking Lounge is the collaborative heart of the European Platform for Apprenticeship Mobility in Building. It offers a dedicated space where VET providers, companies, intermediary bodies, and other stakeholders can connect, share interests, and build partnerships, consortia and networks for apprenticeship mobility in the building sector
Users can create organisational profiles, showcase their mobility offers or needs, and explore potential matches with trusted partners across Europe. The lounge facilitates direct communication and encourages long-term cooperation, helping to lay the foundations for sustainable mobility networks in the building sector.
By bringing together institutions committed to quality and innovation in apprenticeship mobility, this space fosters a strong and supportive community ready to shape the future of vocational training in construction, creating synergies and taking advantage of the European Alliance for Apprenticeships.
Capacity Building Space
The Capacity Building Space is designed to strengthen the skills and readiness of organisations and learners involved in apprenticeship mobility in the building sector.
This space offers practical resources, tools, and learning materials to support:
Apprenticeship Mobility Management Tool
The Apprenticeship Mobility Management Tool supportS the full lifecycle of cross-border mobility experiences in the building sector.
This digital tool helps VET providers and companies coordinate all aspects of the mobility process — from initial planning and partner agreements to documentation, logistics, monitoring, and post-mobility evaluation. It streamlines communication between sending and hosting organisations and ensures that apprentices receive consistent support throughout their journey.
By offering standardised templates, timelines, and guidance aligned with European quality frameworks, the tool helps organisations manage mobility with greater efficiency, transparency, and confidence. It is especially valuable for those new to international apprenticeship exchanges or operating with limited resources.
Accreditation, Validation and Recognition Centre
The Accreditation, Validation and Recognition Centre provides tools and guidance to help VET providers and companies ensure that learning outcomes achieved during mobility experiences are properly documented, assessed, and recognised — both academically and professionally according to European frameworks such as EQF, ECVET legacy principles, EQAVET, and ISO 21001.
It provides support in three main areas:
