The Capacity Building Space brings together the learning resources developed to support high-quality apprenticeship mobility in the building sector. It offers a structured environment where VET providers, companies and apprentices can access training, guidance and practical resources tailored to their specific roles and needs.
This space combines the Training Programme on effective management of apprenticeship mobility, designed to strengthen VET providers and organisations’ capacity to plan, implement and monitor mobility activities, with the Cultural Sensitivity Training, a digital database of dedicated resources that help apprentices prepare for international experiences. This includes cultural awareness, language support, employability guidance and practical information to facilitate adaptation to new working and living environments.
The Training Programme on effective management of apprenticeship mobility is designed to strengthen the capacity of VET providers, companies (particularly SMEs) involved in organising apprenticeship mobility in the building sector.
Structured into practical online courses, the Training Programme covers every stage of the mobility journey, from preparation and planning to implementation, monitoring, quality assurance and recognition of learning outcomes.
Each online course combines practical guidance, real-life examples and ready-to-use resources to support organisations in managing mobility activities more effectively, promoting high-quality experiences and fostering stronger cooperation between education providers and businesses across Europe.

The Cultural Sensitivity Training provides apprentices with practical resources to support their preparation for international mobility experiences. Organised as a searchable digital resource database, it brings together materials covering cultural awareness, language support, workplace communication and everyday life in the host country.
Resources can be easily explored through thematic categories, countries, languages and resource types, making it easy to find relevant information before and during mobility.
